I plan, market, and host learning events for three of Gallup's divisions. Additionally, I help coordinate some of Gallup's community involvement initiatives.
My career path at Gallup
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a marketing degree, and I joined Gallup's Atlanta office in May 1999. I started as a communications coordinator for the Atlanta office, moved to a project coordinator role for some of our largest client accounts, and have been a learning events coordinator in Omaha for more than four years.
During my career at Gallup, I have had a chance to coordinate some unique events in some fun locations across the country. As a member of our learning events team, I work with our Chief Marketing Officer and others to help plan large summits, roundtables, and workshops around the world. We target these events to managers and executives of our client organizations as well as our prospects. I work with a team to coordinate all of the logistical details associated with these events.
In addition to these learning events, I am the coordinator for seminars and other events associated with our StrengthsQuest division and our MBA program. From registrations and logistics to planning learning blocks and graduation celebrations for our clients, my work in these programs is vital to the success of our clients.
In fact, my path at Gallup gives me a great opportunity to spend quality time with many top leaders of our largest clients. I have met some wonderful people in my work, and I have learned a lot about life and business by being in their presence.
Gallup's culture
Gallup cares about the unique talents in all of us. When I get up in the morning, I know I am going to work at a place where I can be my best, get my work done in a manner that works well for me, that my opinions count, and that I have a "family" around me that loves and cares about me as a unique person.
