I give people a chance to be heard. I provide people throughout the country the opportunity to voice their opinions.
My career path at Gallup
I started at Gallup as a part-time interviewer. A former Gallup employee described the organization as the ultimate company to work for. Previously, I worked in banking, insurance, and real estate for 15 years and in sales for 20 years. I work hard -- I get my work ethic from being brought up on a farm. I used this effort to succeed as a part-time interviewer, where I could get my work done on my own schedule, which was fitting for my lifestyle.
After coaching from some of my supervisors, I learned what I could accomplish as a full-time interviewer working to survey the customers of some of Gallup's largest clients. I made the change, and I currently work on interviewing projects for two large banks, a major healthcare provider, and some of our public opinion polling initiatives.
Gallup's culture
The culture at Gallup is one of closeness and recognition. The work environment is employee-centric, and the organization gives employees a sense of pride in making a difference in the world.
