Swati

Swati Technical Project Administrator
My impact at Gallup

I have the opportunity to work with several teams within Gallup. I work with internal and external clients to understand business needs and propose technical solutions targeted at improving efficiency in how we service our clients' needs.

My career path at Gallup

I started at Gallup as a software quality assurance specialist. In this role, I tested and assured the quality of Gallup's software applications at launch. After three years of working in that role, I transitioned into my current position as a project manager. I work with our software development teams to help build usable and scalable software applications to serve business needs. I am responsible for gathering requirements and documenting details about what we are building, identifying deliverables and timelines, and communicating and managing these expectations as they pertain to my projects and my partners.

My current role requires a combination of business analyst and project manager roles and responsibilities. I work with my stakeholders to manage our projects as related to the standard software development lifecycles. I strive to develop and build the best software applications possible, and my primary goal is to service business needs and improve the overall quality, consistency, scalability, and efficiency of our products and services.

Gallup's culture

Gallup is open, friendly, and family-oriented. I had always heard such great things about the company as a workplace and had the opportunity to closely observe the culture because my husband was already working at Gallup when I applied. We have a daughter, and she attends the Child Development Center at the Omaha Riverfront campus. It is a tremendous comfort to have my daughter in the same building as my workplace, and her teachers and all the faculty are amazing.

Not only do I work for a company focused on family, but I also have the opportunity to work with self-motivated, talented individuals focused on achieving great things.
