Community

Our associates help build their communities.

We are lucky to have an organization full of associates who value donating their time, energy, and money to causes that positively impact their individual communities. We embrace the responsibility of social consciousness and well-being through our donations in each of the cities and communities Gallup calls home.

One opportunity for altruism available to Gallup associates is participation in our Community Builders program.

"The mission of our Community Builders is complementary to the work we do every day. Community Builders targets its giving to support strengths, diversity, education, youth, and leadership. Our giving is specifically targeted at those organizations that share this mission. This focus enables Community Builders to pool its resources and make a significant impact through its giving." - Scot, Gallup Omaha

Through our Community Builders program, we identify programs and organizations that meet the following criteria. These guidelines help us achieve the largest impact in each individual city -- and throughout the globe.

  • Does the organization specialize in youth?
  • Is it working to develop youth for greater self-efficacy and resiliency?
  • Does the program honor and assure diversity?
  • Does the organization understand, support, and use the strengths theory with leadership and the youth participants?
  • Is the organization helping to create leaders?
  • Does the organization have strong, sustainable leadership with high integrity to keep it fiscally and socially responsible?

Through the donations of time, talent, and dollars, Gallup associates embrace Community Builders and other opportunities to help the people around them. We consider this focus on community improvement as our ability to positively affect people, their attitudes, and their opportunities to succeed in everything they do.
