I joined Gallup in 1996 as a Recruiter. My primary role was to recruit telephone interviewers and the management staff necessary to run Gallup's call centers. During that time, I had the opportunity to travel to our São Paulo, Brazil office to help find Business Development Consultants/Partners and Consultants/Principals for our international offices. Today, my primary focus is to build relationships with select colleges and universities on the West Coast and to work with Gallup's hiring managers to fill accounting, management, and operations roles around the United States.
I received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and my master's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. I have also earned a nationally recognized certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Prior to joining Gallup, I spent about 10 years in the private vocational school industry designing and implementing recruiting strategies for schools in Los Angeles, California; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Kansas City, Missouri just to name a few. Recruiting seems to come naturally to me, and one of the reasons I like working for Gallup is that I get to do what I do best every day. Finding people with the right talents and positioning them in a role where they can do what they do best is the bedrock of Gallup's selection practices.
