Amit Business Development Consultant
My impact at Gallup

I develop and manage partnerships with hospital systems. I work with hospital leaders to think through their key business issues and determine the ways Gallup can help them diagnose and treat their organizational maladies.

My career path at Gallup

I received a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Ohio State University, where I majored in finance and marketing and minored in economics. Prior to starting at Gallup, I spent three years building and managing relationships with more than 150 healthcare providers at a global pharmaceutical company. This experience opened my eyes to the complexities of the healthcare delivery system, and I wanted to be involved in developing solutions to these issues.

Working at Gallup gives me the opportunity to study various healthcare organizations and have meaningful conversations with leaders about improving the issues that matter most to them. I am making a positive difference in healthcare by helping to create more engaged employees at hospitals and more engaged patients in the community. Using Gallup's science and following its purpose, we can really make a difference in the well-being of every individual our client care providers treat.

The reasons I came to Gallup

I wasn't pursuing other career opportunities, but I felt compelled to apply when I came across Gallup's online job posting. It seemed like the perfect fit. The position called for someone with a passion for making a positive difference within the healthcare industry. My career mission is to "help fix healthcare;" the more I learned about Gallup's behavioral economics approach to consulting, the more confident I felt about aligning with the organization's values and mission to fulfill my own.
