One of the things I love most about my work is the variety of what I do. I manage a team of outbound phone interviewers who collect data for the various surveys and polls that Gallup conducts. There is no "typical day" in my role as a Performance Team Lead. I adjust my days, hours, and minutes based on where I am needed most by my team members and where I can make the most impact on their performance. I spend a great deal of time allocating resources to client projects, managing the performance of my interviewers, and ensuring the most positive and efficient work environment possible. I also lead the wellbeing efforts at my location by providing resources and opportunities to help individuals thrive in their everyday lives, both personally and professionally.
Another thing I love about my job is helping people realize, and then meet, their potential in a positive, engaging environment. My duties range from being a life coach, strengths coach, and a performance coach, sometimes all within the same conversation! Being able to influence my team members and make a difference in the way they see themselves and the way they operate -and how these influence their earning potential - is unbelievably rewarding. At the end of every day, I take pride in knowing that I have helped to create a workplace that is one of the best in the world.
