Consumer Interviewer

Emily

I joined The Gallup Organization two years ago, when I was a senior in high school. Today, I'm a full-time college student, and Gallup appeals to me as much today as it did when I first started. I love that I can set my own schedule and that I have the opportunity to earn college tuition reimbursement.

In my role as a Telephone Interviewer, I conduct surveys for clients in the telecommunications, retail, and banking industries. One of my responsibilities is training new telephone interviewers by teaching them everything I can about the survey they are working on, as well as sharing all of the skills that I've learned over the years for conducting a successful survey.

In addition to my work with Gallup, I'm the president of Phi Kappa Theta, an international honor society. I credit Gallup with the leadership skills I learned from training and helping new associates. What stands out most about Gallup are the relationships I have made. I started working here with my best friend, and I've found new best friends in my coworkers. In addition to working with great people, I have dedicated, charismatic, and inspiring managers.

My advice to potential Gallup employees is that if you want happiness, friends, and a good income, then you can depend on Gallup -- this is where it is at.
