This research-based selection tool goes far beyond a surface inquiry into knowledge and skills; it assesses the talents needed for success in the principal's role.

PrincipalInsight is an online assessment that allows school districts to:

• identify candidates like the best principals
• quickly and accurately assess a large pool of applicants
• build a talent pipeline to strategically approach leadership succession planning
• improve development programs for school leadership

Applicants complete the 40-minute Web-based assessment at their convenience. Gallup immediately reports a score, based on the applicant's responses, that is predictive of an individual's potential for success as a principal based on his or her talents. Scores are delivered to districts through Gallup Online, a secure website. Gallup can also deliver scores electronically, allowing districts to readily integrate scores into existing tracking systems.
