So many people know what their weaknesses are, but often, very few have intimate knowledge of their strengths. That's because sometimes the ways in which we naturally think, feel, and behave come so naturally to us, that we assume everyone thinks, feels, and behaves the same way. But that's not true. Every individual is imbued with a unique combination of talents, and the sooner individuals identify those talents -- and consciously use them -- the better they can learn to use them to build strengths and improve their performance at school, at home, and beyond.
Gallup 's 30 years of research into human talents yielded the Clifton StrengthsFinder, a Web-based talent assessment that identifies a person's greatest talents. Armed with this knowledge, individuals can begin to identify their dominant talents (their Signature Themes) and build strengths -- the ability to provide consistent, near-perfect performance in a given activity. Exploring My Strengths helps individuals explore their talents and build strengths.
Exploring My Strengths incorporates large and small group activities, and helps participants understand and use their individual talents, identify areas to manage, and build an understanding of the concept of "moving from strength." This one-day seminar is ideal for new or experienced teachers, and is also great for equipping mentors with leadership tools.
Exploring My Strengths provides insights into the following topics:
