Leading With Strengths is a two-part program designed for school leaders who seek to implement and sustain strengths development in their schools. It is an ideal learning opportunity for both principals and central office personnel.
Part one is specifically designed to help school leaders discover, own, and more intentionally use their talents. Participants leave this session with a toolkit including six copies of Teach With Your Strengths to use with their teachers.
Part two follows 4-6 weeks later and equips participants with the tools to lead a learning community of teachers in the understanding, ownership, and application of their talents as individuals, partners, and team members. This process truly enables principals and central office personnel to make a plan for building a strengths-based school.
Prior to attending the program, participants complete the Clifton StrengthsFinder, a Web-based assessment that measures an individual's most dominant talents, regardless of position. Upon completing the assessment, participants receive their Signature Themes report, which they bring to the first session.
