About the Education Practice

For more than 40 years, Gallup's Education practice has helped schools focus on the talents of individuals through research-based selection. Rooted in the notion that every person has unique and enduring qualities that feed their individual talents, Gallup's extensive research into positive psychology is still the backbone of our mission today.

Gallup's Education Practice is founded on 40 years of research into the relationships between talent, performance, and success. Building on this background, our mission is to drive organizational change through research-based solutions for selection, development, and improving school culture and engagement.

The Education Practice is one of Gallup's industry specialties. While best known for The Gallup Poll, Gallup provides consulting and research services for major corporations and education, government, and nonprofit organizations around the world. The Education Practice has more than 30 years' experience providing research and consulting for public and private education.

Our consultants know education -- that's because each has experience as a teacher, principal, administrator, or, in many cases, all three. This allows us to truly understand a district's points of pain -- and how to fix them. Collectively, we have more than 150 years of experience in the field of education, and our goal is to use that knowledge to your advantage. Our clients have found that Gallup Education Practice consultants possess a unique perspective on public and private education issues because of their own experience in the field and ongoing work with clients.
