Gallup's Leadership Excellence program combines two powerful courses that help leaders develop their personal leadership style and learn how to engage their faith community or organization.
Strengths-Based Leadership
Built on Gallup's Demands of Executive Leadership -- the challenges leaders must meet to fulfill their potential -- Strengths-Based Leadership offers you an opportunity to gain new perspectives and a fresh approach to your personal leadership style.
During this three-day course, you will assess your leadership effectiveness across the Demands of Executive Leadership: Visioning, Mentoring, Knowing Self, Making Sense of Experience, Stabilizing Values, Building a Constituency, and Challenging Experience.
As pre-course work, you will participate in the Clifton StrengthsFinder talent assessment and take your staff through the Q12 engagement survey. During the course, you will receive individual coaching on the results to help you gain an understanding of your natural talents. You will also learn how to maximize them in your leadership style and in staff engagement, member engagement, and the culture of your congregation.
The personal discoveries and innovative ideas offered during Strengths-Based Leadership will help you re-energize. You will formulate a clear, comprehensive leadership strategy, which will help you make your vision for the future of your faith community a reality.
Equipping for Excellence
Equipping for Excellence is a three-day program that follows Strengths-Based Leadership. Based on the Four Keys of Great Management, this program offers you an opportunity to discover and implement concepts, tools, and strategies that will help you build a culture of engagement in your faith community.
You will come to understand the Four Keys -- Select for Talent, Define the Right Outcomes, Focus on Strengths, and Find the Right Fit -- and learn how to "turn the keys" for maximum performance.
Using the results of your ME25 member engagement survey, you will gain an understanding of engagement levels within your faith community. Gallup will also introduce leaders to the concept of HumanSigma and the correlation between staff engagement and member engagement.
You will leave Equipping for Excellence prepared to enhance engagement and boost performance among your staff to better serve your faith community.
