Employee Engagement

The Gallup Employee Engagement Program is an integrated system of evidence-based measurement, education, action planning, and consulting that is proven to improve key clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. Through years of analysis, Gallup identified 12 items -- known as the Gallup Q 12 -- for measuring employee engagement. 

Unlike satisfaction alone, engagement is a predictor of work behavior and overall performance. Healthcare organizations with higher employee engagement experience lower mortality and complication index and reduced nosocomial infections, in addition to improved patient satisfaction and financial performance. Gallup provides training in the interpretation of employee engagement data and action planning to maximize strengths, address improvement opportunities, and increase engagement.
