The Gallup Poll of China

A 10-year study of change

China has experienced more change in the past decade than any large nation on Earth -- and The Gallup Poll has been there to study it. The new Gallup Poll of China is Gallup's fourth nationwide study of the attitudes in the world's most heavily populated nation. The latest survey unveils the current opinions, experiences, and expectations of the largest consumer base on the planet -- and our past polling permits you to see how they've changed since 1994.

Economists project that China could overtake the United States as the world's biggest economy by mid-century. It is imperative that you hear what the Chinese people have to say now. Gallup's top analysts, Pulitzer-nominated author Richard Burkholder, brand expert Dr. Bill McEwen, finance editor Raksha Arora, and New York Times bestselling author Curt Coffman will tell you what the Chinese had to say -- from their specific consumer and economic attitudes to their more general perceptions of what it's like to work and live in China today.

The study, which Gallup designed and funded, provides essential, timely data. Details on how the Gallup Poll of China  was conducted are available.
