The Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index tracks daily the percentage of Americans who report feeling active and productive. On a 5-point scale, where 5 means "strongly agree" and 1 means "strongly disagree," Gallup asks respondents to rate their level of agreement with the following statement: "In the last seven days, you have felt active and productive every day." Gallup classifies those who respond with a 4 or 5 rating as active and productive. Daily results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults; the margin of error is ±3 percentage points.
