Rosanne Liesveld is a Partner with Gallup. She consults with K-12 school districts to develop comprehensive recruiting, assessment, hiring, and development strategies for teachers and principals. Liesveld's primary areas of expertise are in teacher and principal selection, motivation, development, engagement, and performance management. Liesveld is also coauthor of Teach With Your Strengths, a book on strengths-based development for educators and school systems, which was published by Gallup Press.
Since joining Gallup in 1986, Liesveld has worked with some of the largest school districts in the United States, including Fairfax County Public Schools (Fairfax, Virginia), Gwinnett County Public Schools (Suwanee, Georgia), and Knox County Schools (Knoxville, Tennesee). She uses her extensive expertise to help leaders and managers increase their organization's overall value by implementing performance strategies that will improve the bottom line.
Liesveld has studied talent-based interviews of more than 2,000 individuals, including teachers, principals, and education executives. In addition, she has helped develop teacher and principal interviews used by school districts throughout the United States. Liesveld has spent more than 15 years teaching K-12 administrators how to select and develop talented teachers and principals.
Prior to joining Gallup, Liesveld taught for more than 10 years at three different schools districts in Michigan and South Dakota. Liesveld earned her bachelor's degree in music education and master's degree in adult education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
