Six weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and surrounding areas, a new CNN/
USA Today/Gallup survey of hurricane victims finds many still separated from their families, including a large number of parents still not reunited with their children. Tens of thousands of people have lost their jobs and their homes, and many are concerned about the possibility of another Katrina-like disaster. Though New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is now urging residents of the city to return to their homes, many apparently will not do so.
