Nearly two in three Americans have a favorable opinion of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, according to a recent USA Today/Gallup poll. Although this rating is high, it is among Blair's lowest favorable ratings on record and is down substantially from the previous reading in July 2005. Blair highest rating was 78% shortly after the start of the Iraq war in 2003; his lowest was 58% in 1998, the first time Gallup asked Americans to rate him.More ...
