Gallup University's strategic consultants are global leaders in management and leadership development. They are also talented instructional designers, e-learning specialists, and world-class trainers and facilitators. Gallup consultants work with clients to identify complex business challenges and to create learning solutions that target those challenges.

Gallup University also offers these programs, which can be customized to meet our clients' needs:

  • Great Manager Program: Designed for executives and managers at all levels, the Great Manager Program is built on Gallup's research into what the world's greatest managers do differently. Managers and executives learn strategies based on the Four Keys to Great Management: select for talent, define the right outcomes, focus on strengths, and find the right fit. This course enables participants to learn about their talents, gain insights for personal and professional development, and acquire strategies to increase their workgroup's performance and engagement. The Great Manager Program can be customized to meet clients needs; it is also offered as an open enrollment program of Gallup University.

  • Demands of Executive Leadership: In this world-class course, executives learn about innovative ideas to re-energize their visions for the future. This program presents executives with the opportunity to challenge assumptions and offers a fresh approach to their personal leadership style. Demands of Executive Leadership is designed for executives who have cross-functional or general leadership responsibilities and who want to enhance their strategy and decision-making processes as well as individual effectiveness. Executives will gain a comprehensive understanding of their unique talents and strengths and how to use them to improve their leadership impact. They will also learn how their personal management style influences workgroup culture and employee engagement. This program helps executives develop their leadership effectiveness across the Demands of Executive Leadership: visioning, mentoring, knowing self, making sense of experience, stabilizing values, building a constituency, and challenging experience.

  • Strengths Discovery: This multifaceted course introduces the principles of talent and the Clifton StrengthsFinder talent themes through the participant's Signature Themes Report. The course delves into the nature of talent, the talents represented by each theme, and theme dynamics to help participants maximize areas of natural promise and potential. In the second half of the course, participants will take a deeper dive into their top 10 themes as well as each of the 34 StrengthsFinder themes, the art of managing lesser talents, and how to use their talents to achieve measures that matter.

  • Talent to Lead: This program introduces Gallup's proven strengths-based philosophy and shows participants how -- by understanding their talents and building on them to create strengths -- they can leverage those talents and strengths to achieve outstanding leadership performance, success, and enhanced business results. Executives also learn about a strengths-based approach to understanding, managing, and leading others and develop strengths-based goals that will help them increase their leadership impact.

  • Maximizing Team Strengths: Understanding an individual's role within a team and the potential of the team itself is the key to achieving top levels of team performance. In this program, participants will build a team strengths map to develop greater insight into individual talents, team dynamics, and the team's approach to getting work done. This program is customized to each team's specific business objectives, goals, and needs.

  • Sales Executive and Sales Management Programs: Gallup has studied more than 250,000 sales representatives and 25,000 sales managers and discovered the crucial factors common to top-performing sales organizations. Gallup's highly effective developmental programs for sales managers and sales executives are based on these discoveries. These programs are grounded in Gallup's extensive research into managing customer and employee assets to achieve superior individual and organizational performance.
