Overview

Gallup MBA/MA in Executive Leadership

The ultimate learning objective of the Gallup MBA/MA program is to develop authentic leadership with a strengths-based philosophy that drives positive outcomes at individual, group, organizational, and community levels. Through this program, leaders learn how to measure the impact of proven, authentic leadership growth on human and financial capital metrics and energize an organization's emotional economy. Leaders also learn how to inspire employee and customer engagement, develop, execute, and align strategies, lead into the future, and do so while maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethics.

World-class leaders, professors, learning experts, coaches, business executives, and scientists teach students to understand the crucial dimensions of organizational behavior, organizational psychology, and leadership that are essential for success in today's economy.

During the program, leaders meet with their learning group three times for 10-day intensive learning experiences that cover vital facets of leadership: Leadership Foundations, Leadership Operations, and Leadership Strategy. These sessions include presentations by faculty members, authors, world-class leaders, and guest lecturers, in addition to site visits to high-performing local organizations and immersion activities in the local culture.

Between sessions, leaders take the concepts they learn and implement them in their organizations through current and relevant business projects. Students will also learn through distance learning classes designed specifically for the working professional.

This program can culminate in either an MBA or an MA degree. Both programs are 18 months in duration. Leaders pursuing their MBA take four additional courses that are dispersed throughout the 18-month degree time span: economics, accounting, finance, and marketing.

Students receive executive coaching for the duration of the program and three years after completion of coursework. They also receive a subscription to the Gallup Management Journal.
