Talent to Lead

Talent to Lead helps leaders take their impact and performance to a new level. This 1-day program introduces Gallup's proven "move from strength" management philosophy and describes how leaders can apply it to attain greater success in their personal and professional lives.

During the program, participants are introduced to factors that are crucial to leadership success. Through group discussion, insights, and activities, leaders develop more clarity about their talents and use these insights to plan strengths-based strategies for success.

During the session, leaders:

  • receive an introduction to the importance of understanding their unique talents and developing them into strengths
  • gain an increased awareness of a strengths-based approach to understanding, managing, and leading others
  • develop strengths-based goals that will help them increase their leadership impact

Individualized Leadership Development

Prior to attending Talent to Lead, executives complete Gallup's Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and gain access to a two-hour developmental e-learning course.

  • The Clifton StrengthsFinder provides leaders with insights into their greatest areas of talent. Leaders receive a report of their five most dominant areas of talent, or Signature Themes, as well as a Theme Sequence Report listing their 34 themes in rank order. These results provide the basis for further discovery and learning during the program.
  • The e-learning course introduces leaders to the basics of strengths theory and strengths development concepts.

Gallup Executive Consultants help executives maximize their leadership potential by consulting with them during the course. Consultants and executives establish a follow-up plan, and executives track their progress as they develop, practice, and refine their leadership strategy.

Course length: 1 day
Tuition: $1,200

Talent to Lead is offered at Gallup University's Omaha Riverfront campus. Space is limited. For more information about course content and schedules, contact Gallup University Enrollment and Admissions at 800.7201640.
