Assessing the Presidential Nomination Process
A majority of Americans say it is a "good thing" that the Republican and Democratic presidential nominees are determined by a series of state primaries and caucuses. However, 71% say it is a "bad thing" that the nominees are usually determined before many states have held their primary or caucus.
