Obama Edges Ahead, Economic Views Negative but Stable

As both candidates prepare for the first presidential debate, Gallup Poll Daily tracking finds Barack Obama has moved ahead slightly, now holding a three-percentage-point edge over John McCain. Economic negativity, though high, remains statistically unchanged.
