Few Whites Stray From Typical Party-Ideology Mix
Gallup Daily tracking data find that 6% of white Americans identify themselves as conservative Democrats and 11% identify themselves as moderate/liberal Republicans. Nearly half fit into the more conventional political categories of moderate/liberal Democrat (25%) and conservative Republican (23%).
