Blacks, Nonwhites Most Supportive of Healthcare Reform

Sixty-five percent of black Americans and 50% of nonwhites say they would advise their member of Congress to vote for a healthcare bill this year, while 31% of whites say the same. Other demographic groups that show the most support for healthcare reform include women, those with a post-graduate degree, and those making less than $30,000 a year.
