Americans React to Obama’s Afghanistan Strategy

A slim majority of Americans (51%) favor President Obama's new strategy in Afghanistan, including a majority of Democrats (58%) and Republicans (55%). Independents, however, are split, with 45% in favor and 45% opposed.
