In this season of giving, helping others isn't always a monetary act. With insights from 146 countries, discover in which ones people are most likely to lend a helping hand, whether through volunteerism, charitable donations or kindness to strangers.

Have you done any of the following in the past month? How about volunteered your time at an organization?

If you said "yes," you join the ranks of almost 1 billion people worldwide who reported volunteering their time to an organization in the past month. The 2018 World's Most Generous Countries Report tracks the charitable inclinations of more than 153,000 adults in 146 countries and how they gave their money, time or assistance to others in need.
