Leaders of the Future: Wellbeing, ESG and Developing a Strengths-Based Culture
In this webinar, we will discuss why transformational leadership is critical in these pandemic times, when much of the workforce is now fully remote or adopting a hybrid work arrangement. These changes to the way we work call for new priorities for organizations and leaders, to look into new ways to engage their most important asset — their people.
During this session, Gallup will touch on three main topics: ESG, wellbeing, and developing a strengths-based culture. Gallup experts will share some insights on how to build an organization that grows organically and sustainably.
First, we will share what we expect for the future of ESG. ESG may ultimately redefine success in business — beyond wealth creation, toward making the world a better place for all.
Second, we will look at what comprises individual wellbeing and the role that an organization plays in driving wellbeing for its employees. Gallup defines wellbeing as all the things that are important to each of us, what we think about, and how we experience our lives. We will discuss the five elements of wellbeing — career, social, financial, physical and community — and how individuals are classified as thriving, struggling, or suffering in each element.
Finally, we will look at what the best organizations are doing differently: creating a strengths-based culture. This approach aligns with the changing workplace demands, that managers move from being just a boss to becoming a coach. This means equipping managers with the skills and tools to coach and develop others by focusing on what their people naturally do best.
