David Boop

David’s extensive background includes work experience in the non-profit, regional government, and higher education sectors of the economy. The majority of his vocational experience has been spent in collegiate career development. Over two decades in higher education, he improved the effectiveness of three different college career centers.  

Having successfully coached college students and alumni of all ages to reach career fulfillment, David’s success in working with clients stems from his desire to develop an understanding of the unique talents each person possesses. He feels a great sense of joy when he knows he has guided a client to career realization.  

The ability to work with internal and external stakeholders has been a key element in David’s career accomplishments. His capability to develop rapport with faculty led to 60-80 interactive classroom presentations on a yearly basis. These workshops, which were designed specifically for each class, received high evaluations from students.  

In an era where life-long learning is essential for career success, he continually invests time and energy to upgrade his knowledge to benefit his clients. In addition to being a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, David is certified as an International Protean Career Coach and a Dependable Strengths Articulation Process Facilitator. In his spare time, he enjoys running, swimming, church activities, and playing vintage baseball.
