Confidence in the Banking Industry

The percentage of Americans saying they have "a great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in U.S. banks has fallen to 32%, down 9 percentage points from June 2007 and 17 points from June 2006. This matches the 32% of March 1991 and nears the three-decade low of 30% in October 1991.
