Building Check-In/Security

The Gallup Building maintains 24-hour security. Upon arrival, all guests must check in with the first-floor security officer and be prepared to present a valid photo ID. On public event days, guests may be subject to metal detectors and bag search. No large bags or luggage are permitted in the public meeting areas.

Elevator access will be granted after check-in. Guests with mobility needs will be accommodated.
Proceed to Gallup’s reception desk on the second floor, where our team will guide you to your event or meeting location.

Gallup’s World Headquarters sits in the heart of Washington, D.C., just steps from the White House, the National Mall, and the city’s most influential institutions. More than a workplace, our D.C. office is the operational core of the Gallup World Poll and a hub for mission-driven partnerships with government agencies, higher education leaders, global nonprofits, and Fortune 500 organizations.

Our historic building dates to just after the Civil War and was once the Grand Lodge of the Masons. Gallup fully restored the property in 2000, honoring its legacy as a host of inaugural balls and landmark events while transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility. Today, the headquarters spans 119,000 square feet and includes a spectacular atrium that welcomes guests and The Great Hall, one of D.C.’s largest private event venues that includes flexible meeting rooms, executive boardrooms, and collaborative spaces to support global convenings.
