After a couple decades in broadcasting, I turned my attention to corporate affairs, communications, change management, and media relations. Those years taught me that developing people and teams is at the core of nearly every accomplishment I have enjoyed. Whether starting something from scratch, or bringing change to a well-established team, I believe in the powers of learning and growing that are intrinsic to the Strengths Coaching process.
I have a passion for learning, which led to two Master's degrees – one in Leadership and the other in Theology and Biblical Studies. As a certified Chaplain and ordained Pastor, I am humbled by every opportunity God places in front of me to be of service to those in need. I believe that our strengths and talents are designed uniquely by God for each of us. When we can more fully embrace and utilize those strengths, we are better able to thrive and fulfill our life's purposes.
My wife, Tracey, and I have taken our own experience as a blended family and formed a citywide ministry effort known as "Blended & Blessed Omaha." My current Chaplaincy is focused on providing support and ministry to First Responders, and victims of tragic circumstances.
Professionally, I am currently the President and CEO of the Nebraska Trucking Association and the Nebraska Trucking Foundation. I also serve as the Chairman of the Board of GROW Nebraska.
