Dr. Katerina Wingfield is an education strategist and consultant with more than 25 years of experience across the K–12 and higher education landscape. Her career spans leadership roles in community colleges, traditional four-year institutions, and proprietary education, where she has served as faculty, a student services professional, an instructional administrator, and an education designer.
Throughout her career, Dr. Wingfield has led and managed a wide range of instructional and student services divisions, working collaboratively with school districts, workforce partners, and higher education institutions to design and strengthen aligned education and career pathways. Her work focuses on creating systems that support student momentum, credential attainment, and successful transitions into high-demand careers.
Dr. Wingfield brings deep expertise in program and curriculum development, accreditation and institutional effectiveness processes, performance funding models, and human-centered design approaches to pathway development. She has partnered with national and regional organizations, including Education Design Lab, Accelerate Ed, and Educate Texas, to support innovative pathway design and cross-sector collaboration.
In addition to her leadership and consulting work, Dr. Wingfield is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and incorporates strengths-based leadership principles into her work with institutions and teams. Through Rooted Elevations, LLC, she partners with education and workforce leaders to design strategic, aligned pathways that expand opportunity and improve outcomes for students and communities.
