Coaching Philosophy
I believe organizationsand the people in them — thrive when they lead from their strengths, not their weaknesses.
As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I help individuals and teams discover what they naturally do best, and build the confidence and clarity to lead from that place. My approach blends strengths-based coaching with nearly two decades of hands-on leadership experience I've led teams through organizational growth, guided staff through strategic planning, and coached individuals from new team members finding their footing to leaders navigating complex change.
Who I Work With
I coach individuals, leaders, and teams who want to move beyond "fixing what's wrong" and instead build on what's already working. This might look like:
- A leader trying to build a stronger, more aligned team culture
- An organization navigating growth or change and wanting to protect what makes their culture work
- An individual who feels stuck and wants clarity on where their talents can have the most impact
- A team that wants practical tools for working better together, grounded in each person's natural strengths
My Approach
Every person and every team I work with brings a different mix of strengths, so our work together starts with understanding what's actually true for you — not applying a generic framework. From there, we build practical, actionable steps: how to use your specific strengths in your specific role, team, or season of leadership.
I bring the same lens to individuals and organizations alike: growth happens fastest when people understand and lean into what they're naturally wired to do well.
Background
Before becoming a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I spent nearly two decades in education and nonprofit leadership — most recently leading a team through a period of significant organizational growth. That real-world leadership experience shapes how I coach: I've lived the challenges my clients bring me, not just studied them.
