Shavonney Ahmad is a seasoned organizational development consultant and certified leadership coach with over 15 years of experience supporting federal agencies and mission-driven teams through change, culture transformation, and performance enhancement. Her expertise includes strategic facilitation, conflict resolution, employee engagement, and leadership development, particularly in complex, evolving environments.
Formerly an Organizational Development Specialist within the federal government, Shavonney led enterprise-wide initiatives affecting more than 6,500 employees across thirteen offices. She partnered with senior leaders to conduct organizational analyses grounded in inclusive methodologies such as appreciative inquiry, systems thinking, and adaptive change models. She developed and facilitated over 30 civility and leadership workshops, and co-designed employee engagement strategies that significantly improved morale and agency-wide performance metrics. Her approach blends behavioral science with data-driven insights to foster sustainable culture change through leadership alignment and improved team dynamics.
Shavonney’s federal service spans heavily on workforce planning and development and includes managing onboarding, retention, and workforce engagement programs during major organizational restructuring. She has also achieved advanced recognition in communication and leadership through Toastmasters International, where she received multiple accolades for her public speaking and team leadership. A respected voice on inclusive leadership and workplace civility, Shavonney has presented to audiences of 600+ on topics including psychological safety, unconscious bias, and conflict transformation.
Shavonney is also an ICF Associate Certified Coach and DiSC® Facilitator. She has over 200 hours of one-on-one coaching, helping individuals and teams improve communication, restore trust, and strengthen cohesion. She holds an M.S. in Administration and Organizational Development from Trinity Washington University and a B.S. in Mass Communication Studies from Towson University.
