Jim Kermath

In addition to Strengths Coaching work, I am an ICF-certified Life & Career Coach, with offices in Pasadena and Santa Monica, CA. My mission is to equip individuals and teams to accomplish their callings. I work with individuals who are stuck in a life or career transition and are searching for the next step. I also work with teams and their leaders in a business, non-profit, or congregational setting who are wrestling with the way forward. Whatever the situation, I am a champion of personal development as described by Gallup — discovering the unique talents of each individual and building on those — as the key to discerning vision and regaining momentum.  

I bring to my coaching work a depth of experience from a variety of roles, including pastor, professor, and Executive Director. I hold a BA in Communications from Pepperdine University (Malibu), a M.Div. from Fuller Seminary (Pasadena), and a certification in Life & Career Coaching from the Life Purpose Institute (San Diego), in addition to my Gallup certification. I am married to the radiant Renee and we make our home in Eagle Rock, CA, staying in touch with our coastal roots via surfing and beach volleyball on the weekends.
