I love CliftonStrengths, my top 5 Strengths include Learner, Achiever, Responsibility, Arranger, and Input. My coaching philosophy is rooted in authentic leadership, the importance of emotional intelligence, and developing the whole person. I leverage my expertise in strengths-based leadership and team-based learning to partner with clients (individuals and teams) to create tailored development plans that align with personal/professional goals. Clients consistently comment on my deep listening skills and the ability to stimulate light bulb moments of self-reflection and paths forward.
Holding a variety of roles during my career from frontline management to president of two publicly traded companies, I have collaborated with numerous stakeholders across academia, industry, and the healthcare community. My successful forays into corporate and academic environments include a diverse expertise in administration/supervision, P&L management, marketing, meeting facilitation, consensus building, project management, and mentoring of staff/teams. I have led and mentored four departments, two companies, and numerous team members. This journey has provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by today's leaders. In turn, these experiences shape my extensive (20+ years) in coaching leaders, fostering change management approaches, and team building! When I am not coaching, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, traveling (especially to National Parks!), swimming, and biking. I'm an avid listener of audio books, especially mystery novels, I love going to concerts, and my Learner keeps me growing and evolving.
