Jennifer is the Co-Founder of The Culture People, an organization focused on the broad landscape of organizational culture, leadership development, employee engagement, and change management. She is also the Founder of The Strengths Studio, a specialized organization dedicated to providing high-impact Gallup Strengths coaching, development, and training to elevate performance and sustain success.
With over two decades of experience, Jennifer's career has been dedicated to enhancing organizations through a strengths-based approach to excellence. She previously served as the Associate Vice President, Campus Climate and Chief of Staff to the President at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), where she was responsible for driving the university's strategic priority of Campus Climate, which included fostering, advocating, and advancing CSUSM's culture and employee engagement efforts. For her years of dedicated service and impactful commitment, she received the designation of Administrator Emeritus in November 2019.
Jennifer holds an M.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Development. She is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, with additional certifications in MBTI, DISC, and Change Management (ATD), and is a “Carrot a Day” Recognition Facilitator. She has also served as a member of the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO) Professional Development Steering Committee, Chair of the WACUBO Mentoring Program, and speaker for WACUBO's Business Management Institute, the WACUBO Women's Leadership Forum, and the WACUBO Annual Conference.
As a former California Baldrige Examiner for the California Council of Excellence, Jennifer played an instrumental role in attaining statewide recognition for performance excellence at CSUSM, receiving both the California Challenge Award in 2010 and the California Prospector Award in 2013.
