Dianna currently serves as the Associate Director for the Center for Student Engagement at the University of Tennesee, overseeing Campus Engagement, Student Leadership Development, Assessent, and Marketing and Communications.
Dianna grew up in Louisiana and and completed her Bachelors in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina. After completing her degree, she spent a year teaching English abroad in Busan, South Korea, followed by nine months of backpacking and volunteering around the world. After finding her passion for education and leadership development, Dianna completed a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy with a focus in Student Services and Service - Learning in Higher Education at Portland State University. Dianna has over ten years of experience within various fileds within Higher Education including International Education, Student Leadership Development, Student Organizations, and Student Engagement and Programming.
In January 2023, Dianna was fortunate enough to complete the Gallup Global Strengths Certifcation and has been incorporating Strengths coaching throughout all elements of her work. She is particularly passionate about working with students and clients to realize their passions and full potential through exploring their strengths and identifying ways they are already utilizing those strengths. That then opens the door for more intentional focus and application of strengths for further success and fulfillment.
