Mahmoud Embaby is an entrepreneurial engineer and leadership practitioner with over 20 years of experience in learning & development, executive coaching, and organizational transformation.
Over the years, he has delivered thousands of training days and impacted more than 50,000 professionals across leading multinational and regional organizations. In addition, he has dedicated thousands of hours to executive and leadership coaching, supporting senior leaders and business executives in driving transformation within their teams and organizations.
Mahmoud is the Founder & CEO of Impact Learning & Development, a regional consulting and leadership development firm operating across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC. Through this role, he brings a unique perspective that combines real business leadership with coaching and development practice.
He specializes in applying CliftonStrengths in real business contexts — not only for individual awareness, but to drive team performance, leadership effectiveness, and organizational outcomes. He is also among the few globally certified practitioners in BP10 (Builder Profile), supporting entrepreneurs and business leaders in scaling and transforming their businesses.
In addition to Gallup methodologies, Mahmoud integrates multiple behavioral and development frameworks in his work, including LIFO®, Accountability Circles®, and Management Drives, among others — enabling him to deliver comprehensive and practical development experiences.
Mahmoud has worked extensively across different regions, with exposure to Europe, USA, Asia, and the Middle East, and has been actively involved in global learning communities, supporting the strengths movement in the region.
On the academic and professional level, Mahmoud is an alumnus of Columbia Business School Executive Education (Marketing & Brand Leadership) and holds a Master Trainer Certification from ATD (USA). He is also certified in NLP, negotiation, and multiple global training and simulation methodologies.
