Question & Answer

Q: What do you do at Gallup?

A: I am a lead consultant at Gallup, and I work with clients in our Financial Services and Insurance Practice(opens in a new window). In my role, I have three main responsibilities: to lead Gallup's client-facing team that has been resourced for each client under my purview, to ensure excellence and high-quality execution for all client projects and deliverables, and to be a great partner and thought leader, using Gallup's incredible resources to create tailored solutions and exceed client expectations.

Q: What do you help your clients achieve?

A: I focus specifically on customer experience(opens in a new window) and employee engagement(opens in a new window). In the current environment, both are extremely important for all companies to get right and can be the difference between success and failure in both the short and long term.

Q: How is what you're doing at Gallup helping us fulfill our mission?

A: I feel fortunate that so much of what I do aligns very well with Gallup's mission. Helping companies create a positive environment where people can thrive (especially during challenging circumstances such as the pandemic) is just one example. A positive and engaging work environment can make all the difference to the wellbeing of each person coming to work, and I cannot think of a more important difference to make.

Q: How are you learning and growing on an ongoing basis?

A: I am learning and growing at Gallup in so many ways -- and faster than I could have imagined. I still can't believe how much I have learned in such a short time frame. From completing Gallup's comprehensive online and in-person learning sessions and diving into all the excellent supporting materials, to speaking with project managers, consultants and partners here at Gallup, I take away something interesting or insightful from every conversation I have.

Q: What's been one of your favorite projects at Gallup?

A: One of my favorite projects was building out a comprehensive and scalable solution for community banks and credit unions. This solution focused on what we call financial wellbeing, which Gallup found to be a key driver of customer engagement. That is important because Gallup also found that it is customer engagement, not customer satisfaction, that is more closely tied with a bank's business and margin outcomes. To offer a solution that can pull on this lever while enhancing the relationship quality a customer has with their preferred financial institution was very exciting and impactful.

Q: What are you most excited about in terms of upcoming projects?

A: I am extremely excited to be presenting a webinar with one of my colleagues and mentors. The focus of the webinar is "How Financial Wellbeing Creates Better Business Outcomes(opens in a new window)." We've worked hard to ensure this webinar is full of meaningful insights, and we are both extremely excited to present in front of a large virtual audience!

Q: What makes Gallup's consulting work unique?

A: I've been fortunate to work for quite a few amazing companies, and what sets Gallup apart is the positive and team-oriented atmosphere. I have felt so welcome from the day that I joined. I remember receiving a handwritten note about how excited Gallup was that I was joining, and it really is touches like this -- how much Gallup cares -- that make all the difference. That same note is now pinned on the wall of my home office, and I appreciate it every day.

Q: What are some of your favorite things about your team?

A: The collaboration and conversations have been very helpful as we grow together as a team. I must say that such a positive atmosphere is facilitated by my manager. She has been such an incredible leader and has enabled me to do my best work.

Q: What's been one of your career highlights at Gallup?

A: I was fortunate enough to win Gallup's Rising Star award in my third month at the company. I truly believe that this award is just the start of something very special and represents my continued upward growth within the company. I feel this achievement was due to the incredible support, mentorship and environment within Gallup. I am grateful to the partners in the Financial Services and Insurance Practice for nominating me. It has been such a pleasure to work with them.

Q: What made you choose to join Gallup over other organizations?

A: Before joining, I spoke with a few alumni from my MBA program who worked at Gallup, and I was very encouraged by what they had to say. I had the pleasure of meeting key leaders at Gallup during my final round of interviews, and those conversations really solidified my desire to join.

Q: How do your CliftonStrengths® show up in life?

A: CliftonStrengths® help me see where I am strong and why I think the way that I do. I'm a strategic thinker, and I always like to run every possible scenario in my head before choosing the one I believe will have the best outcome. What I love most is being able to see solutions that have not previously been seen or discussed. That is incredibly exciting for me and helps me support my clients well.

Q: What's it like to work at Gallup?

A: I love working at Gallup. Our work is incredibly interesting and keeps me busy, and my colleagues are wonderful to work with, so it is a pleasure to be here, and I am enjoying every second. In Gallup's culture, leaders and coworkers are intentional about recognizing good work, and I really feel appreciated here.

Q: What do you do when you're not at Gallup?

A: I love to spend time with my beautiful baby boy, Armaan! He is the light of my life and why I get up every day. We go for walks around the neighborhood, and nothing feels better. I am also an avid sports fan, so I like to catch football, basketball and soccer games. Hanging out with my friends at lunches, dinners or other get-togethers is also a ton of fun and a nice way to relax.
