Sam is a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths coach and communications instructor in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Colorado State University (CSU).
He was co-owner of emergency services at The Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC) for 27 years, and recently served as president of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association CVMA).
