About Andrew

Specializes in working with clients to deliver large-scale, high-impact projects with global reach

As a Partner at Gallup, Andrew leads the Public Sector division across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Gallup’s United Nations engagements globally. He has over a decade of experience in designing and delivering large-scale projects with policy impact, partnering with governments, foundations, academics, businesses and U.N. entities to address data gaps to enable evidence-based decision-making.

Andrew is passionate about advancing the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and empowering people and nations to improve their wellbeing. He spearheaded Gallup's collaborations with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the U.N. on a new measure of food insecurity (later adopted as SDG indicator 2.1.2) and has initiated numerous projects and partnerships to develop innovative metrics and novel approaches to monitor human progress across the world. His previous work includes measures of diet quality, water insecurity, risk, trust in science and vaccines.

He serves as an adviser to a number of groups, including the U.K.'s What Works Centre for Wellbeing. He is also a senior (nonresident) associate with the Washington, D.C.-based Center for Strategic and International Studies.
