About Zacc

Zacc Ritter is a senior researcher and project director at Gallup. He joined Gallup in 2016 and has over 15 years of experience in survey design, social science experiments, data analysis and analytical writing. Zacc's substantive research focuses on foreign policy, democracy, trust and human flourishing.

As a project director, he manages a five-year, probability-based, longitudinal survey study conducted across 22 countries and 200,000 individuals tracking the factors that contribute to human flourishing. Over the past six years, he has managed other large-scale, cross-national surveys covering a range of topics including global warming, moral value systems, news media consumption habits, diet quality and water security.

Zacc holds a doctorate in political science from Georgetown University where he studied foreign interventions, non-violent resistance movements and irregular regime change. He has a bachelor's degree from Colgate University.
