As associate director of the Gallup Center on Black Voices, Whitney focuses on implementing strategy and developing regional relationships for Gallup's research initiative devoted to studying and highlighting the experiences of Black Americans. The center tracks and reports the progress on life outcomes regarding topics such as justice, health and wellbeing, economic opportunity, jobs and work, education and community, and environment.

As a senior consultant, Whitney works with clients to improve organizational performance. She advises client leaders on research-based management practices and strategies that have been proven to drive productivity and profitability.

Before joining Gallup in 2013, Whitney worked in media and publishing to boost organizational sales and customer affinity. She was responsible for providing customer and competitor research, analyzing customers' engagement with brands, creating data-informed marketing strategies and overseeing the project management of vendor collaborations.
