A native of Seymour, Tennessee, Mandie Thacker Beeler has served as the Director of the Jones Center for Leadership and Service since November 2018. In this role, she engages campus and community partners to elevate leadership and service, coordinates fundraising initiatives and cultivates donor relationships, and provides direction and support for all programs and course offerings related to the Center’s mission.
Dr. Beeler is an ccomplished professional with over 18 years of experience in leadership education, event planning, program development and administration, supervision of professional staff, volunteer recruitment and management, non-profit management, and grant writing. She is passionate about civic and community engagement, volunteerism, and active citizenship. Beeler's doctoral research focused on the role of required volunteerism and service-learning and students’ perceptions of civic responsibility.
For fun, Mandie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and traveling to visit friends and the beach.
