Establishing Strengths-Based Business Partnerships

Webcast Details

  • Gallup Called to Coach Webcast Series
  • Season 2, Episode 33
  • Learn how two business partners and CliftonStrengths coaches leverage their strengths in their partnership and in their work with clients.

On the latest episode of Called to Coach, we hosted Sarah Davis and Jennifer Fore, co-founders of reCreate, a strengths-based leadership development coaching company based in San Diego, California.

Sarah's strengths journey began in the corporate sector when she attended her company's future leaders program. It was there that she first discovered her strengths, received individualized coaching and had her first "Aha!" moment.

Jennifer first discovered her strengths during graduate school, when one of her assignments was to take the CliftonStrengths assessment and write a paper about it. Her "Aha!" moment was accompanied by feelings of reassurance when she learned that some of her strengths -- Developer and Empathy in particular -- paired perfectly with her desire to become a clinical psychologist.

Setting aside their successful careers to help others discover and develop their natural talents, the two joined forces and founded reCreate.

A unique aspect about these two strengths coaches is that they didn't dive into business alone. As partners who founded a strengths coaching company, they often encounter situations they wouldn't normally find if they were running their own practices. As with any thriving relationship, constant communication is a necessity. They also said it's important, even as strengths coaches, to practice what you preach by building that business relationship through strengths, and to always be aware of each other's natural abilities.

To learn more about Sarah and Jennifer and how they use strengths to empower individuals, leaders and teams, watch the full video above.

Sarah Davis' Top 5 CliftonStrengths are Learner, Responsibility, Discipline, Positivity and Restorative.

Jennifer Fore's Top 5 CliftonStrengths are Achiever, Empathy, Positivity, Connectedness and Developer.
