On a recent Called to Coach, we spoke with Jayne Jenkins, founder of Churchill Leadership group. Jayne creates positive results that last, transforming leaders and teams with her real-world experience, coaching certification, and facilitation expertise.

Jayne got her start in the corporate world, developing employees and leaders in major corporations. She discovered CliftonStrengths assessment about 12 years ago, and was surprised by the positive impact it had on her and her. In her first experience with strengths, she saw that it stuck right away -- people were talking about it, and it resonated with people immediately.

Your Coaching Brand

Whether you have a solo coaching practice or a multi-employee coaching business, it's important to develop a coaching brand. Jayne explains that she developed a personal brand that she brings to her coaching sessions, but she has also created a brand for Churchill Leadership Group.

When it comes to branding yourself, don't rush. Lean on your strengths and other resources to understand who you are as a coach. Take the time to fully develop your personal brand, and don't try to be something you're not.

Focus On the Goal

When coaching leaders, it's important to get the client to focus on the goal -- the end result that comes from coaching with strengths. Some leaders have a difficult time laying out their goals in a measurable way. By focusing on the end result, they will have attainable milestones to work toward.

Jayne Jenkins' Top 5 CliftonStrengths are Maximizer, Strategic, Futuristic, Connectedness and Arranger.
