On a recent episode of Called to Coach, we hosted Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach Maureen Monte.

Maureen first discovered her strengths while she was pursuing her master's degree in leadership and business ethics. After attending various Gallup strengths coaching courses, Maureen began coaching others on how to get the most out of their strengths. Her coaching career has been an exciting evolution that has taken her from coaching her friends and family, to spreading strengths around the world.

Along with being a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Maureen is also highly trained in Gallup's Builder Profile 10 (BP10, formerly EP10) assessment. BP10 is a tool that helps people identify and understand their unique combination of entrepreneurial talents. In her coaching sessions, Maureen often refers back to her client's strengths to do an overall evaluation of why an individual might or might not excel in a particular area of entrepreneurship. Unfortunately this doesn't always help, since strengths do not necessarily correlate directly to certain entrepreneurial talents.

Maureen also talked about her time incorporating strengths into the philosophy of a high school hockey team. She said shortly after discovering and developing their strengths, the team went from struggling to state champions. You can learn more about this experience here.

To learn more about Maureen and how she uses strengths to help people live happier, more productive lives, watch the full video or listen to the audio above.

Maureen Electa Monte's Top 5 CliftonStrengths are Ideation, Strategic, Learner, Achiever and Individualization.
